If you are searching for the Maduka University Anatomy cut-off mark, read this first: I could not confirm that Maduka University runs a B.Sc. Anatomy degree. Anatomy is missing from Maduka’s 2026/2027 fee list, from its 2025/2026 fee list and from the copy of its JAMB course list I could read. Only one blog post (Teezab, July 2026) lists it, and that post cites no university document. If Maduka does admit into Anatomy, the minimum would be 150, the single UTME cut-off Maduka gave for all courses in 2026/2027.

So before you put Maduka down for Anatomy, get written confirmation from the university that the course exists and is on its JAMB list. If it isn’t, you have two good routes: an Anatomy-heavy health course at Maduka itself, such as Medicine and Surgery, Physiotherapy or Medical Laboratory Science, or Anatomy at ESUT, UNN, ABSU or Gregory University. The fee lists carry the most weight, because a university prices every course it is admitting into.

Five sources leave Anatomy out and one includes it without naming where it got the list. My reading is that Maduka teaches anatomy as a subject inside its Medicine, Nursing, Physiotherapy and other health degrees, but has not shown that it admits students into a separate Anatomy degree. That could change, since Maduka is still adding programmes, but I would not plan your UTME around it without proof.
Why the JAMB list matters: a university can only admit you through CAPS into a course JAMB has listed for it, and the News Agency of Nigeria reported JAMB’s position in May 2026 that admissions outside CAPS are illegal. If Anatomy is not on Maduka’s JAMB list, no genuine Anatomy offer from Maduka can reach you.
How to confirm before you register or pay
- Check JAMB’s list at registration: at the CBT centre, ask the operator to select Maduka University and look for Anatomy (it may appear as “Anatomy” or “Human Anatomy”). If it is not there, do not register Maduka for Anatomy.
- Ask Maduka in writing: email or visit the admissions office and ask whether a B.Sc. Anatomy is admitting for the session, and under which JAMB course name.
- Check the official fee schedule: a running course will have a fee line. Ask for the current schedule on the portal at madukauniversity.edu.ng.
- Pay nothing until CAPS shows the course: an offer that does not appear on CAPS is not an admission.

Worked example
- Chidinma scored 172 and wants Anatomy: she clears Maduka’s 150, but with Anatomy unconfirmed she registers Physiotherapy at Maduka, which uses the same subjects and is priced on the fee list. 172 minus 150 = 22 above the minimum.
- Kelechi scored 205: 205 minus 180 = 25 above ESUT’s Anatomy minimum. I would put ESUT first for Anatomy and keep a Maduka health course as a private-university fallback through a change of institution if needed.

Applying to a Maduka health course, step by step
- Get your JAMB profile code: send NIN, a space and your 11-digit NIN to 55019 or 66019 from the phone line linked to your NIN.
- Register the UTME with the right course: Choose a course that is listed under Maduka University on JAMB’s portal (Anatomy only if you have seen it there), with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Make Maduka University your first choice. If it is not, do a JAMB change of institution before you apply.
- Upload your O’level to CAPS: do this at a JAMB-accredited centre, with every sitting you want counted. Without it the university cannot recommend you on CAPS.
- Fill Maduka’s online form: reports describe the steps as creating a profile, uploading your UTME result and O’level, choosing the programme, paying the ₦5,000 form fee and printing the slip. Start from the official website, madukauniversity.edu.ng, and pick the course you registered on the form.
- Accept on CAPS: log in at efacility.jamb.gov.ng, open Check Admission Status, then Access my CAPS. Accept the offer there before you pay the school. Our JAMB CAPS guide explains each status.
- Pay acceptance and fees: the acceptance fee is reported as ₦50,000 and non-refundable. Reports say tuition can be paid in two instalments of 60% and 40%. Pay only into accounts shown on the official portal.

If anyone promises you a Maduka Anatomy admission, ask to see the course on JAMB CAPS before paying anything. A course that is not on JAMB’s list for the university cannot carry a real offer.
