The Peaceland University International Relations cut off mark is not published. Peaceland has no departmental figure for International Relations and Diplomacy, so JAMB’s 2026 minimum for universities, 150, is the score that applies. You need at least 150 to be considered, and I would aim for about 170. The course is on JAMB’s list of Peaceland courses as International Relations and Diplomacy, and on Peaceland’s 2026/2027 list as a B.Sc. in the Faculty of Arts, Management and Social Sciences. Peaceland announced full NUC accreditation for it after NUC’s October/November 2025 exercise.
2027/2028 update: Peaceland University cut-off marks usually stay the same from one year to the next, so the figures on this page are what 2027/2028 candidates should plan with. They come from the latest official notice (2026/2027), which for Peaceland means JAMB’s 2026 minimum for universities, because the university has not published a score of its own. If the 2027/2028 notice changes anything, we will update this page.
Below are the official numbers, my safe target, the JAMB subjects (Literature in English and Economics are both fixed, which surprises many candidates), Peaceland’s O’level rules, how it admits, a worked example, the CAPS steps and what the degree involves.
Peaceland University International Relations and Diplomacy cut off mark at a glance
| Item | Position for 2027/2028 planning | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Peaceland cut-off for International Relations and Diplomacy | Not published | No Peaceland notice with a score found for 2025/2026 or 2026/2027 |
| JAMB minimum for universities | 150 | Official, JAMB policy meeting, 11 May 2026 |
| Safe target score (my advice) | 170 and above | Consultant advice, not a Peaceland rule |
| JAMB course name | International Relations and Diplomacy | JAMB list of Peaceland courses (Myschool reprint) |
| Peaceland programme | B.Sc. International Relations and Diplomacy | Peaceland’s own programme list (FAQ page) |
| Faculty | Arts, Management and Social Sciences | Peaceland FAQ page |
| UTME subjects | English, Economics, Literature in English, plus Geography, Government or History | JAMB brochure (Myschool reprint); no Peaceland remark |
| NUC accreditation | Full, as announced by Peaceland | University announcement after NUC’s October/November 2025 exercise |
Peaceland University cut-off history for International Relations and Diplomacy
| Session | Figure | What it is | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2026/2027 | 150 | JAMB national minimum for universities | Official (JAMB, 11 May 2026) |
| 2026/2027 | Not published | Peaceland’s own minimum or departmental cut-off | Not on Peaceland’s FAQ page; not in the 2026 institution list reported by News Central |
| 2025/2026 | Not published | Peaceland’s own minimum | The 2025/2026 form notice reprinted by AbsTech Connect (6 June 2025) gives no score |
Peaceland started degree admissions in 2023/2024. Neither of its two recent admission notices I found prints a score. JAMB’s 150 is the legal floor, so plan with it as the line to cross and treat the rest as your margin.
Safe target score for International Relations and Diplomacy at Peaceland (my advice)
This table is my judgement as an admissions adviser. Peaceland has not published anything like it.
| Your UTME score | My read for Peaceland International Relations and Diplomacy |
|---|---|
| Below 150 | Not eligible for any university course in 2026 |
| 150 to 169 | Eligible; an offer depends on your O’level grades and how early you apply |
| 170 to 189 | Strong for a new private university. This is the range I would aim for. |
| 190 and above | Very strong |
For the 2027 UTME I would aim for 170 or higher with strong credits in English, Government or History, and Mathematics. International Relations draws students who also apply for Law and Political Science, so applicants here are often well prepared.
UTME subject combination and O’level for Peaceland International Relations and Diplomacy
| Requirement | International Relations and Diplomacy at Peaceland |
|---|---|
| UTME subjects | Use of English, Economics, Literature in English and one of Geography, Government or History |
| O’level (brochure) | Five credits including English Language and Government or History, plus three other relevant subjects |
| Peaceland’s general rule | Five credits including English Language and Mathematics, plus relevant subjects (FAQ page) |
| Exams accepted | WAEC, NECO or NABTEB |
| Sittings | Not stated by Peaceland; one sitting is safest |
| Peaceland remark in the brochure | None. The only remark is for ABUAD |
This combination is easy to get wrong. JAMB’s entry fixes Economics and Literature in English, then lets you choose Geography, Government or History. A candidate who registers Government, History and CRS has no Economics or Literature and does not fit the course.
Mathematics is not in the brochure’s O’level line for International Relations, but Peaceland’s FAQ asks every candidate for a Mathematics credit. Have both a Mathematics credit and a Government or History credit and you meet both rules.
Direct Entry
JAMB’s Direct Entry rule is two A level passes in social science subjects, from Government or History, Economics, Sociology or Business Management. Peaceland’s FAQ also invites ND, NCE, IJMB, JUPEB and HND holders to apply, without stating grades. Ask the Admissions Office before you buy a Direct Entry form.
How Peaceland screens International Relations and Diplomacy applicants
Peaceland has not published a Post-UTME test, a screening fee or screening dates in any source I could reach. What its own admissions FAQ does say is this:
- JAMB score: you need the current minimum approved by the university and the NUC. The page does not print a number, so 150 applies.
- Not your first choice? You can still apply and do a JAMB change of institution where it is needed.
- Direct Entry: ND, NCE, IJMB, JUPEB, HND or equivalent holders may apply.
- Transfers: students from recognised universities may apply, subject to a review of their records.
- O’level: at least five credits, including English Language and Mathematics, plus subjects relevant to the course.
- Documents: O’level result, JAMB result slip, birth certificate, passport photograph, local government identification letter, NIN slip, acceptance fee receipt, school fees receipt, and your Direct Entry qualification if you have one.
- Fees: they vary by programme, and instalment payment is allowed under university rules. Peaceland’s fee schedule lists ₦320,000 at 100 level and ₦390,000 at 200 and 300 level for the Faculty of Arts, Management and Social Sciences, with a ₦10,000 form and ₦10,000 acceptance fee.
In practice, a young private university like Peaceland usually decides on your UTME score, your O’level grades and your documents. Some add a short test or interview. Peaceland has not said whether it does, so be ready for one.
Worked example for International Relations and Diplomacy candidates
Peaceland has no published aggregate formula, so there is nothing official to combine. The useful sums are the distance between your score, the 150 floor and my target.
Take Adaeze, who scored 176 in Use of English, Economics, Literature in English and Government. She has credits in English, Mathematics, Government, Literature and Economics from one sitting.
- Eligibility: 176 minus 150 = 26. She clears the floor.
- Against my target: 176 minus 170 = 6. She is in my strong range.
- Subjects: Economics and Literature are both there, plus Government. Her combination fits.
- What I would advise: apply early on the Peaceland portal and keep her documents ready for clearance.
Somto scored 182, higher than Adaeze, but his UTME subjects were Government, Economics and CRS. He has no Literature in English, so under JAMB’s entry he does not fit International Relations at all. His subjects are better suited to Political Science or Public Administration, and he should look at those before he loses the year.
How to apply for International Relations and Diplomacy at Peaceland University, step by step
- Get your JAMB profile code: send NIN, a space and your 11-digit NIN to 55019 or 66019 from the phone line linked to your NIN.
- Register the UTME correctly: pick International Relations and Diplomacy at Peaceland University with Use of English, Economics, Literature in English and one of Geography, Government or History. If Peaceland was not your choice, do a JAMB change of institution, which Peaceland’s FAQ allows.
- Upload your O’level to CAPS: do it at a JAMB-accredited centre. A result that is not on CAPS cannot be used to admit you.
- Apply on Peaceland’s portal: go to apply.peacelanduni.edu.ng, create an account, fill the application and upload the documents listed above. Use the same names as on your JAMB and WAEC or NECO records.
- Attend any screening: if Peaceland invites you for a test or interview, go with the originals of every document.
- Accept on CAPS: log in at efacility.jamb.gov.ng, choose Check Admission Status, then Access my CAPS. Accept only when the offer is the course you want. Our JAMB CAPS guide explains every status.
- Pay acceptance and school fees: pay only through Peaceland’s official student portal or at the Admissions Office, print your JAMB admission letter and go for clearance.
Warning
Peaceland says it does not authorise any admission agent. Every genuine offer appears on JAMB CAPS, and payments go through the official student portal or the Admissions Office. Anyone who asks you to pay them for a “slot” is not acting for the university.
JAMB set 30 November 2026 as the 2026/2027 admission deadline for private universities, a month after the 31 October date for public universities, and it says any admission done outside CAPS is illegal. If you sat the 2026 UTME and still have no admission, Peaceland can still offer you a place on CAPS up to that date. Check CAPS regularly and read what to do with your JAMB score if you are planning for 2027.
Your chances of getting International Relations and Diplomacy at Peaceland
TheCable reported, at Peaceland’s second matriculation, that the university admitted over 600 students across four faculties and that its NUC quota limited how many it could take. So there is a cap, even at a private university. In my experience, though, a new private university’s arts and social science departments are rarely as crowded as Medicine or Nursing, and qualified candidates who apply early and complete their documents tend to get offers.
For this course, the subject combination is the first filter and your score is the second. Get Literature and Economics right, keep 150 well behind you, and finish your Peaceland application early.
If Peaceland does not work out, Gregory University, Uturu’s International Relations was accredited in full after a December 2024 visit, and the NUC lists Clifford University’s International Relations as full until 2027.
Studying International Relations and Diplomacy at Peaceland University
International Relations and Diplomacy sits in Peaceland’s Faculty of Arts, Management and Social Sciences with Political Science, Public Administration and Economics. Peaceland has campuses at Independence Layout near MSP and at Emene in Enugu, and does not say which programmes run where. Four years is the usual length for a B.Sc. in Nigeria (three for Direct Entry); Peaceland has not published its own.
What you study
- Foundations: introduction to international relations, political science, Nigerian government and economics.
- Theory: realism, liberalism and other theories of world politics.
- Diplomacy: diplomatic practice, protocol, negotiation and Nigeria’s foreign policy.
- Institutions and law: the United Nations, the African Union, ECOWAS and public international law.
- Applied areas: international political economy, conflict and peace studies, strategic studies, and a final year project.
Accreditation
Peaceland University was licensed in 2023 and grew out of Peaceland College of Education, which still runs as a separate college. After NUC’s October/November 2025 accreditation exercise, Peaceland announced full accreditation for 17 programmes, and International Relations and Diplomacy is one of them. The full list was reported by Uniblog NG on 23 April 2026, and the university’s own post of 1 May 2026 names Nursing, Medical Laboratory Science and Accountancy “and several others”. I found no NUC report page for the programme, so the status rests on the university’s announcement. Peaceland also announced on 15 September 2026 that it had received its full operational licence.
One NUC report that comes up when you search “Peaceland” is for Political Science Education at Peaceland College of Education (full accreditation, visit 26 to 28 November 2024). That degree is affiliated to Abia State University and belongs to the college, not the university, so it says nothing about this programme.

Mistakes that cost International Relations and Diplomacy applicants a Peaceland place
- No Literature in English in the UTME: JAMB’s entry fixes it.
- No Economics in the UTME: also fixed.
- No Mathematics credit: Peaceland asks for it, even though the brochure’s O’level line does not.
- Paying an agent: Peaceland says it authorises none.
- O’level not on CAPS: without it, no admission.
- Missing the CAPS acceptance: an offer you do not accept can lapse.
Peaceland University International Relations and Diplomacy cut off mark: FAQs

The 150 minimum, the 30 November 2026 deadline for private universities and the rule against admissions outside CAPS come from the News Agency of Nigeria report of JAMB’s policy meeting (11 May 2026). The 2026/2027 admission announcement is from Myschool News (28 April 2026), and the 2025/2026 form notice is from AbsTech Connect (6 June 2025); neither gives a score. The comparisons with Gregory University (NUC report, December 2024 visit) and Clifford University (NUC results list) come from NUC publications checked by our team. The over-600 admissions figure and the NUC quota remark are from TheCable’s report of Peaceland’s second matriculation.
