The FUAHSE Human Anatomy cut-off mark is 150 in the UTME. The Federal University of Allied Health Sciences, Enugu (FUAHSE) put Human Anatomy in the 150 group of its official 2026/2027 UTME admission cut-off list, with Physiology, Biochemistry and Microbiology. That is the lowest line at FUAHSE and the same as JAMB’s national minimum for universities.
2027/2028 update: FUAHSE cut-off marks usually stay the same from one year to the next, so the figures on this page are what 2027/2028 candidates should plan with. They come from the latest official notice (2026/2027). If the 2027/2028 notice changes anything, we will update this page.
Human Anatomy is one of FUAHSE’s original programmes, so its record is cleaner than the newer courses. Where things stood on 30 October 2026:
- FUAHSE’s own list: yes, at 150 for 2026/2027.
- NUC approval: yes. It was among the first 16 programmes FUAHSE announced as NUC-approved in December 2024, and it was in the 2025/2026 intake.
- JAMB: JAMB’s brochure has a Human Anatomy entry with no FUAHSE remark. I could not open JAMB’s list of FUAHSE courses.
- Professional regulator: none applies. Anatomy is a basic medical science degree with no licensing council, so NUC is the body that matters.
One thing to know early: FUAHSE does not offer Medicine and Surgery. Its 28-course list has no MBBS, so Anatomy here is not a route into a medical class at the same school. If you want to compare Anatomy elsewhere in Enugu State, see ESUT Anatomy (180 to apply), UNN Anatomy (160 to apply) and SUMAS Human Anatomy (150).
Warning
FUAHSE’s admissions page warns that fake admission information about the university is circulating on Facebook. Its official channels are fuahse.edu.ng/admissions and the e-portal at eportal.fuahse.edu.ng, and every genuine offer also shows on JAMB CAPS. Nobody can sell you a place, so don’t pay anyone who promises one.

FUAHSE Human Anatomy cut-off history
| Session | Figure | What it is | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2026/2027 | 150 | Human Anatomy admission cut-off | Official FUAHSE e-portal |
| 2026/2027 | 150 | Minimum UTME score to fill the screening form | Myschool report of the 2026/2027 exercise |
| 2025/2026 | Not published | Course was offered (one of 16); no course cut-off found | Studentship reprint, 18 July 2025 |
Human Anatomy was in FUAHSE’s first degree intake in 2025/2026, but no per-course figure was published that year. In 2026/2027 the course cut-off and the form’s minimum were both 150, which means FUAHSE did not add any extra bar for Anatomy at the application stage.
All FUAHSE cut-off marks for 2026/2027
| 2026/2027 cut-off | FUAHSE courses (names as on the e-portal) |
|---|---|
| 260 | Nursing Science |
| 240 | Radiography |
| 230 | Medical Laboratory Science, Physiotherapy |
| 200 | Public Health, Dental Technology, Dental Therapy, Prosthetics and Orthotics, Software Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Electrical and Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, Social Work, Biotechnology, Alternative and Complementary Medicine |
| 180 | Health Care Management, Occupational Therapy, Parasitology and Entomology, Water Hygiene and Sanitation |
| 170 | Speech Therapy, Community Health, Health Information |
| 150 | Human Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology |
Read the table from the top. Every course from Nursing (260) down to Microbiology (150) asks for science subjects, and most use the same Physics, Chemistry and Biology combination as Anatomy. So a candidate who scored 230 and missed Nursing can be offered Human Anatomy, and that is why the real competition sits well above 150.
Safe target score for Human Anatomy at FUAHSE (my advice)
FUAHSE does not publish the score of its last admitted candidate. These ranges are my judgement.
| Your UTME score | My read for FUAHSE Human Anatomy |
|---|---|
| Below 150 | Not eligible at any Nigerian university in 2026/2027 |
| 150 to 169 | Eligible, but at risk if many higher scorers are moved down |
| 170 to 199 | Competitive with good O’level science grades |
| 200 and above | Strong |
For the 2027 UTME, I would aim for at least 180, ideally 200. A cut-off equal to the national minimum looks easy, but at a health university the 150 courses absorb candidates who missed the 200 to 260 courses.
Catchment and quota
FUAHSE has not published a catchment list or a quota for Human Anatomy. Plan on merit.
UTME subject combination and O’level for FUAHSE Human Anatomy
| Requirement | Human Anatomy (JAMB general entry) |
|---|---|
| UTME subjects | Use of English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics |
| O’level | Five credits: English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics |
| Direct Entry (JAMB brochure) | Two A’level passes chosen from Biology, Chemistry and Physics |
| Direct Entry (FUAHSE notice) | ND, HND or first degree plus relevant O’level credits |
| Sittings | Not stated by FUAHSE |
This is JAMB’s entry for Human Anatomy, reprinted by Myschool and read on 30 October 2026. The special remarks cover UNICAL (no Direct Entry), FUD and FUTA (a two-sitting cap and ND upper credit or A’level routes), but not FUAHSE, so the general entry applies. Mathematics is an O’level requirement even though it is not a UTME subject here.
Course name to pick on JAMB: JAMB’s brochure lists this course as Human Anatomy, and FUAHSE’s cut-off page calls it Human Anatomy. I could not open JAMB’s own list of FUAHSE courses (the Myschool reprint would not load for me), so I can’t confirm that the course appears under FUAHSE on JAMB’s portal or exactly how it is spelt there. The course was in FUAHSE’s 2025/2026 intake through JAMB, so it is very likely listed, but check the exact name on screen. At registration, ask the centre to show FUAHSE’s course options on screen. If the course is not there, do not pick a look-alike; choose another course or school and plan a change of course once FUAHSE confirms the course is on JAMB’s list.

Worked example for an Anatomy candidate
FUAHSE has not published an aggregate formula, so compare your score with 150 and with my safe target.
Take Kosisochukwu, who scored 211 with A1 in Biology, B2 in Chemistry, B3 in Physics, B3 in English and C4 in Mathematics, all in one sitting.
- Eligibility: 211 minus 150 = 61. He clears the Anatomy cut-off by 61 marks.
- Against my safe target: 211 minus 200 = 11. He is in the strong range.
- Other options: 211 also clears Public Health and the other 200 courses, so he should choose between them before registration.
- O’level check: five relevant credits in one sitting, uploaded to CAPS.
Chidinma scored 158. 158 minus 150 = 8, so she is eligible, but she sits below my safe range. She should keep checking CAPS and have SUMAS (150) as a backup.
How to apply for Human Anatomy at FUAHSE, step by step
- Get your JAMB profile code: send NIN, a space and your 11-digit NIN to 55019 or 66019 from the phone line linked to your NIN.
- Register for the UTME: choose FUAHSE and Human Anatomy, with Use of English, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. If FUAHSE was not your choice, do a JAMB change of institution before its screening form opens.
- Upload your O’level on CAPS: do it at a JAMB-accredited centre, early. Universities read your grades from CAPS.
- Fill the FUAHSE screening form: go to eportal.fuahse.edu.ng and open the Post-UTME application form for the session. UTME candidates enter their JAMB registration number; Direct Entry candidates start with a phone number. Blogs reported a fee of ₦2,000 for 2026/2027; the invoice the portal generates is what counts.
- Print your slip and keep checking: FUAHSE has not published whether it holds a test, so watch the portal and the official admissions page after you submit.
- Check your status: use FUAHSE’s admission status page and JAMB CAPS. An offer is only real once it appears on CAPS.
- Accept on CAPS: log in at efacility.jamb.gov.ng, open Check Admission Status, then Access my CAPS, and accept. JAMB gives candidates four weeks to accept or reject an offer.
- Pay acceptance and clear: FUAHSE has not published its acceptance fee in any source I reached. Pay only through an invoice generated on the FUAHSE e-portal, and keep every receipt for clearance.
FUAHSE is a federal university, so its 2026/2027 admissions fell under the deadline JAMB set for public universities. JAMB set 31 October 2026 as the 2026/2027 deadline for public universities (News Agency of Nigeria, 11 May 2026). JAMB announces each year’s deadlines at its annual policy meeting, so the 2027/2028 date will come from the 2027 meeting. I found no report of when FUAHSE uploaded its 2026/2027 list. If you applied in 2026, CAPS is where your result shows, and our JAMB CAPS guide explains each status.
Studying Human Anatomy at FUAHSE
Human Anatomy sits in FUAHSE’s Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences with Physiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology and Parasitology and Entomology. FUAHSE’s own introduction page says the university was established on 14 March 2024 from the former Federal College of Dental Technology and Therapy, has six faculties, and plans for its graduates to leave with a bachelor’s degree plus a professional diploma in an entrepreneurial venture. FUAHSE has not published the course duration; B.Sc. Anatomy is usually a four-year degree in Nigeria.
Is FUAHSE Human Anatomy approved?
- March 2024: the Federal Government approved the upgrade of the Federal College of Dental Technology and Therapy, Trans-Ekulu, into FUAHSE.
- October 2024: an NUC team began checking 18 of the 22 programmes FUAHSE’s Senate had approved for take-off in 2024/2025, using NUC’s Core Curriculum Minimum Academic Standards as the yardstick (The Sun, 31 October 2024).
- December 2024: FUAHSE announced NUC approval for its first 16 degree programmes, and Human Anatomy was on that list. The university’s own news page carries the list, and Journalist101 and Vanguard reported it on 19 December 2024.
- May 2026: the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. John Emaimo, said NUC approval now covered 27 programmes: the original 16 plus 11 newer ones (The Sun, 9 May 2026).
- 2026/2027: FUAHSE’s official cut-off list carries 28 courses, the original 16 plus 12 newer ones. That is one more than the 27 approvals the Vice-Chancellor described.
Human Anatomy has NUC approval to run. Accreditation is a later NUC visit that usually comes when the first students reach their final years, and I found no accreditation result for FUAHSE’s Anatomy yet, which is normal for a programme that began in 2025/2026.
What you study
- Gross anatomy: the structure of the body region by region, taught with dissection.
- Histology: tissues and cells under the microscope.
- Embryology: how the body develops before birth.
- Neuroanatomy: the brain, spinal cord and nerves.
- Related sciences: physiology, biochemistry, genetics and research methods, ending with a final-year project.
That outline describes Nigerian B.Sc. Anatomy degrees in general; FUAHSE has not released its own course list.
Careers
Anatomy graduates teach anatomy in universities and colleges of health technology after postgraduate study, work in research and laboratories, in forensic and mortuary science, and in medical sales. Many go on to a master’s degree. Some apply later for Medicine as a graduate; each medical school sets its own rules for that, so check before you plan around it.

FUAHSE Human Anatomy or Anatomy elsewhere in Enugu?
| Option | 2026/2027 figure | What to weigh |
|---|---|---|
| FUAHSE Human Anatomy | 150 (course cut-off) | Federal; NUC-approved December 2024; no medical school on campus |
| ESUT Anatomy | 180 to apply | State university; shares candidates with Medicine |
| UNN Anatomy | 160 to apply | College of Medicine; departmental figure not published |
| SUMAS Human Anatomy | 150 to apply | State university in Igbo-Eno |
My view: FUAHSE is a sensible first choice for Anatomy if you scored in the 170s or above, with federal fees and a published course cut-off. If you want to study next to a medical school, UNN or ESUT may suit you better. Our guide to JAMB change of institution explains how to move your application before screening.
Mistakes that cost Anatomy applicants
- Treating 150 as safe: it is the minimum; higher scorers from other FUAHSE courses compete for the same seats.
- Missing Mathematics at O’level: JAMB’s entry lists it among the five credits.
- Expecting a transfer to Medicine: FUAHSE has no MBBS programme.
- Paying an agent: FUAHSE says money for admission is forbidden, and every real offer shows on CAPS.
FUAHSE Human Anatomy cut-off mark: frequently asked questions

The 2026/2027 course cut-offs come from FUAHSE’s e-portal page 2026-2027 UTME Admission Cutoff Mark, read on 30 October 2026. The 150 minimum, the 8 June to 19 August 2026 window and the Direct Entry routes come from Myschool (4 June 2026); the ₦2,000 fee is from AbsTechConnect (June 2026) and is unofficial. FUAHSE’s official channels and the Facebook warning are on its admissions page; its July 2025 warning against admission racketeering was reported by Myschool. The national minimum of 150, the 31 October 2026 deadline for public universities and the four-week CAPS acceptance window come from the News Agency of Nigeria (11 May 2026).
