There is no published Peaceland College of Education Integrated Science and Mathematics cut off mark for 2027/2028, and under the 2026 rules NCE applicants with four O’level credits do not write the UTME. JAMB lists Peaceland College of Education, Enugu for three pairings in this area: Integrated Science/Mathematics Education, Geography/Integrated Science and Geography/Mathematics. You still register with JAMB for NCE, and your offer has to appear on CAPS before it counts.
2027/2028 update: Peaceland College of Education admission requirements and entry rules usually stay the same from one year to the next, so the position on this page is what 2027/2028 candidates should plan with. It comes from the latest official position (2026/2027). If the 2027/2028 rules change anything, we will update this page.
Peaceland has not published a departmental minimum, a screening score or subject rules for these pairings in any source I reached. Below is what is on record from JAMB and the college’s adverts, plus my own advice, which I label as such.

Peaceland has never published a cut-off mark for Integrated Science and Mathematics on its own. The 140 figure in 2024 covered every form the college was selling that year, including its degree programme, which no longer takes new students (more on that below). The 100 figure was JAMB’s floor for all colleges of education in 2025/2026. For 2026/2027 the score question mostly disappears, because NCE candidates with four credits are not asked to write the UTME.
Do you need JAMB or UTME for Integrated Science and Mathematics at Peaceland College of Education?
You need JAMB. You do not need the UTME, as long as you hold at least four O’level credit passes. Three official statements in 2026 set this out:
- 11 May 2026: at JAMB’s 2026 policy meeting, the Minister of Education, Dr Tunji Alausa, said NCE candidates with a minimum of four credit passes will no longer sit the UTME. They must still register with JAMB, and their results are checked through CAPS before any admission letter is issued.
- June 2026: JAMB’s NCE registration guide set out the fees and the CAPS process, and said no 100 level or 200 level degree admission into any college of education is allowed from 2026/2027, affiliated degrees included. Everyone who enters a college of education now enters through NCE.
- 23 July 2026: NCE registration without UTME opened at Institutional Professional Registration Centres (IPRCs) in colleges of education and at JAMB professional registration centres.
On timing, Nairametrics reported on 11 May 2026 that the exemption would take effect from the 2027 admission cycle, while JAMB’s June 2026 guide and Legit’s 23 July 2026 report show it was already being used for 2026 admissions. For a 2027/2028 candidate both readings point the same way: if you are going for NCE, you do not write the UTME.
What JAMB charges for NCE registration
| Item | Amount | Who pays it |
|---|---|---|
| O’level verification code, one sitting | ₦1,500 | Every NCE applicant (bought from the exam body) |
| O’level verification code, two sittings | ₦2,000 | Applicants combining two results |
| JAMB NCE application fee | ₦3,500 | New NCE applicants who did not register for the 2026 UTME |
| CBT or IPRC centre charge | ₦700 | Every NCE applicant |
| Moving a 2026 UTME application to NCE | ₦700 only | UTME candidates whose first choice was a college of education |
These are JAMB’s 2026/2027 amounts. The 2027/2028 guide may change them, so confirm the figure at the centre before you pay. Peaceland’s own form, if it sells one, is a separate charge the college has not published.
Safe target for Integrated Science and Mathematics at Peaceland (my advice)
This is my judgement, since the college has not published how it ranks applicants.
Integrated Science draws on Biology, Chemistry and Physics together, and Mathematics is a subject you will teach, so your science and Mathematics grades decide how strong your file looks. This is how I would read it:
| Your O’level position | My read for these pairings at Peaceland |
|---|---|
| Fewer than four credits | Not eligible for the no-UTME route; resit first |
| No credit in Mathematics | Not suitable for any pairing with Mathematics; weak for Integrated Science too |
| Five credits including English, Mathematics and two of Biology, Chemistry and Physics | Meets the usual standard for Integrated Science/Mathematics |
| B grades in Mathematics and two sciences, one sitting | Strong. This is what I would aim for |
If you also write the 2027 UTME for a university, the 2026 minimum for universities was 150. That score plays no part in Peaceland’s NCE admission, and JAMB will not process you for both routes at once.
The three pairings and the O’level credits for each
JAMB’s list for Peaceland does not show Integrated Science or Mathematics as a single subject. Each comes in a pair:
| Combination | Credits I would have (besides English) | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Integrated Science/Mathematics Education | Mathematics, and at least two of Biology, Chemistry and Physics | The standard route for Basic Science and Mathematics teachers |
| Geography/Integrated Science | Mathematics, Geography, and two of Biology, Chemistry and Physics | Suits candidates with a good Geography grade |
| Geography/Mathematics | Mathematics (a strong grade), Geography, Physics or Economics | Also covered on our Geography page |
These credit lists are my advice based on general college of education practice. Peaceland has not published subject rules. The federal exemption only asks for four credits without naming subjects, while colleges usually expect five including English and Mathematics. Apply with five and you meet both.
O’level and UTME summary
| Requirement | Integrated Science and Mathematics at Peaceland |
|---|---|
| UTME | Not required for NCE candidates with at least four credits (2026 policy) |
| O’level (Peaceland’s own rule) | Not published in any source reached |
| O’level (usual rule) | Five credits at no more than two sittings, including English, Mathematics and your teaching subjects (general practice) |
| UTME subjects, only if you write UTME anyway | Use of English, Mathematics and two science subjects for Integrated Science pairings (JAMB’s usual pattern; confirm on the e-brochure) |
| Awaiting results | Cannot be proposed on CAPS until the result is uploaded |
| Direct Entry | No 100 or 200 level degree entry into any college of education from 2026/2027 |
Worked example for an Integrated Science or Mathematics applicant (illustrative)
There is no published aggregate formula at Peaceland. These made-up cases show how to check yourself against the rules.
Obinna has one WAEC sitting: English C4, Mathematics B2, Physics C5, Chemistry C6, Biology B3, Geography C6, Civic Education B3 and Literature D7. He wants Integrated Science/Mathematics Education.
- Credit count: seven credits, well above the four-credit exemption rule.
- Five-credit check: English and Mathematics both credited in one sitting.
- Subject check: B2 in Mathematics and credits in all three sciences. A strong file for this pairing.
- Process: WAEC verification code (₦1,500), NCE registration with Peaceland as first choice (₦3,500 plus ₦700), then the CAPS proposal and the Provost’s recommendation.
Nkechi combined two NECO sittings: English C5, Mathematics C6, Biology C5, Geography B3, Agricultural Science C4, and D7 in both Chemistry and Physics. With one science credit she is thin for Integrated Science/Mathematics. Geography/Mathematics fits her better, because her Geography grade is her best and she has the Mathematics credit. Her two-sitting verification code costs ₦2,000.
Your chances of admission into Integrated Science and Mathematics at Peaceland
Peaceland does not publish applicant numbers. Mathematics and science pairings rarely draw the biggest crowds at NCE level, so a candidate with clean credits in Mathematics and the sciences should be in a good position. That is my reading, not a figure from the college.
- Make Peaceland your first choice. JAMB routes NCE registrations to the first-choice college.
- Pick the pairing your grades support. A weak science grade hurts more in Integrated Science than elsewhere.
- Upload real results, not Awaiting Results, where possible. Proposal waits for the upload.
- Keep watching CAPS. The offer is only valid once you accept it.
How to apply for Integrated Science and Mathematics at Peaceland College of Education, step by step
- Get your JAMB profile code: send NIN, a space and your 11-digit NIN to 55019 or 66019 from the phone line linked to your NIN.
- Buy your O’level verification code: from WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or NBAIS. JAMB lists ₦1,500 for one sitting and ₦2,000 for two. Write down the exam year, exam number and subjects exactly as on your result.
- Register for NCE at a JAMB centre or IPRC: pay ₦3,500 plus the ₦700 centre charge, choose Peaceland College of Education, Enugu as your first choice and pick your pairing, for example Integrated Science/Mathematics Education. Your biometrics are captured and you get a slip.
- Make sure your O’level is on CAPS: your results and verification code must be uploaded, because CAPS checks them against the exam body’s record. A candidate marked Awaiting Results cannot be proposed until the result is uploaded.
- Already registered for UTME? If a college of education was your first choice, JAMB moves you to NCE and you pay ₦700 only. Once you are recommended for NCE, your UTME process is suspended, so you cannot run both.
- Fill Peaceland’s own form if it asks for one: the college has not published a portal address or form price in any source I reached. The “portal” link in Myschool’s 2026/2027 report points to Myschool’s own page for the college. Confirm with the college in Enugu before you pay anyone.
- Wait for the proposal and recommendation: under JAMB’s guide, the college proposes you on CAPS, the Provost recommends you, and JAMB then checks your O’level before the offer shows.
- Accept on CAPS: log in at efacility.jamb.gov.ng, open Check Admission Status, then Access my CAPS. Accept within four weeks or the offer can be withdrawn. Our JAMB CAPS guide explains each status.
- Pay the acceptance fee and register: Peaceland has not published its acceptance or school fees. Pay only through the channel on your admission letter or the college’s official notice.
If you are still chasing a 2026/2027 place, JAMB’s admission window for colleges of education runs until 31 December 2026. Candidates planning for 2027/2028 should watch for the next NCE registration notice and register with Peaceland as first choice from the start.
Warning
The Federal Government has said any admission done outside JAMB CAPS is illegal. If someone offers you a Peaceland College of Education place that never shows on CAPS, or asks for money to “process” one, do not pay.
About Peaceland College of Education, Enugu
Peaceland College of Education is a private college of education in Enugu. It appears as “Peaceland College of Education, Enugu” on the National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE) list of accredited colleges, where it is shown as open, with Rev. Fr. Dr. Leo Ilechukwu named as Provost. A business directory gives its address as 1 Old Path Close, opposite ESUT MSP, by Nkpokiti Junction, Independence Layout, Enugu, and says it was set up in 2014; I could not confirm either detail on a college page, so check before you travel.
It is a different institution from Peaceland University, Enugu. The names are close and some blogs mix them up, but the university admits degree students with UTME scores, while the college runs NCE. A Peaceland University form is not a Peaceland College of Education form.
In its 2026/2027 advert, as reported by Myschool on 18 July 2026, the college offered NCE, the Professional Diploma in Education (PDE), the Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) and part-time study, and described its courses as fully accredited. The advert did not give requirements, prices or dates. Its 2024/2025 advert also offered a degree programme. Blogs have linked that degree to Abia State University, and a directory links the college to Anambra State University; neither link was confirmed. Since JAMB has stopped new degree admissions into colleges of education from 2026/2027, plan to take any degree at a university after your NCE.
Accreditation
NCE programmes are regulated by the NCCE. The college is on the NCCE accredited list, but I could not confirm the accreditation status of each Integrated Science and Mathematics combination, so I am not claiming it. Ask the college for the current NCCE status of your exact combination before you accept an offer.

Mistakes that cost Integrated Science and Mathematics applicants a Peaceland place
- Looking for single-subject Mathematics: it is not on Peaceland’s JAMB list; choose a pairing.
- Applying for Integrated Science with one science credit: the subject covers all three sciences.
- Mixing up the college and Peaceland University: they are separate institutions.
- Buying a form through an unknown link: the college has not published a portal in any source reached.
- Missing the CAPS acceptance: an offer not accepted within four weeks can be withdrawn.
