Peaceland University Educational Management Cut-Off Mark 2027/2028 & Admission Requirements

Peaceland runs an accredited B.Ed. Educational Management and the UTME minimum is 150, but the course was not on JAMB’s Peaceland list when checked. See what to register, subjects, fees and alternatives.

The Peaceland University Educational Management cut-off mark is 150 in the UTME, JAMB’s minimum for universities in 2026/2027. Peaceland has not published a separate figure for the course. Before you register, though, read the JAMB course list problem below.

2027/2028 update: Peaceland University cut-off marks usually stay the same from one year to the next, so the figures on this page are what 2027/2028 candidates should plan with. They come from the latest official notice (2026/2027). If the 2027/2028 notice changes anything, we will update this page.

Educational Management is not on JAMB’s course list for Peaceland University. Peaceland’s own website lists it as a B.Ed. in the Faculty of Education, and the university announced full NUC accreditation for it after the October/November 2025 exercise. But JAMB’s list for Peaceland, as reprinted by Myschool on 30 October 2026, has 30 courses and Educational Management is not one of them, and Peaceland does not appear on the JAMB brochure page for Educational Management. A university can only offer you a place on CAPS in a course JAMB has listed for it. So before you register, check the JAMB e-brochure or the registration screen at your CBT centre: if Peaceland University shows under Educational Management, register that course. If it does not, write to Peaceland’s Admissions Office and ask which JAMB course to register, or choose a Peaceland education course that is listed, such as Education and Economics or Guidance and Counseling.

Why the JAMB list matters for Educational Management

JAMB runs admissions through CAPS, and NAN reported JAMB’s position in May 2026 that any admission done outside CAPS is illegal. CAPS only lets a university offer candidates the courses JAMB has approved for it. Course lists do lag behind new programmes at young universities, and Peaceland only began degree admissions in 2023/2024, so JAMB may add Educational Management later. Until you can see it under Peaceland on JAMB’s own e-brochure or registration screen, treat it as unconfirmed for registration.

What I would do in your place

  1. Check JAMB first: at registration, search for Educational Management and see whether Peaceland University appears. If it does, register it.
  2. If it does not, ask in writing: contact Peaceland’s Admissions Office through the contacts on its official website and keep the reply. Do not rely on an agent’s word.
  3. Choose a listed course as your safe option: Education and Economics at Peaceland uses almost the same UTME subjects (Economics and Mathematics), and Guidance and Counseling accepts any three subjects. Both are on JAMB’s Peaceland list and both were in Peaceland’s accredited group.
  4. Keep a public backup: ESUT Educational Management asks 160 and is on JAMB’s list for ESUT.

Safe target score for Educational Management at Peaceland (my advice)

These bands are my judgement, not a Peaceland rule, and they assume your JAMB course choice is sorted out.

Your UTME scoreMy read
Below 150Not eligible for any Peaceland degree in that session
150 to 159Eligible. Education places at private universities are rarely the first to fill
160 to 179Comfortable, and enough for ESUT’s 160 minimum as a backup
180 and aboveStrong for any education course in Enugu

I would aim for 160 or more, and settle the JAMB course title before anything else, because CAPS can only carry an offer for a listed course.

UTME subject combination and O’level for Educational Management

RequirementEducational Management
UTME subjects (JAMB general rule)Use of English, Economics, Mathematics and one other Social Science or Arts subject
O’level (JAMB general rule)Same as Educational Psychology, Guidance and Counseling: five credits including English Language, with at least a pass in Mathematics
O’level (Peaceland’s own rule)Five credits including English Language and Mathematics, plus subjects relevant to the course
Direct EntrySame as Guidance and Counseling: A level passes or NCE in two subjects (JAMB general rule)
Peaceland remark in the JAMB brochureNone; Peaceland is not on the page

Most universities’ remarks on the brochure page (TASUED, UI, EKSU, AAUA, RSU) add an Economics credit at O’level, so I would treat a credit in Economics as required. My recommended UTME is Use of English, Economics, Mathematics and Government. It fits Educational Management everywhere, and the same subjects also fit Education and Economics at Peaceland, which is your safest listed alternative. Revise with our JAMB Economics syllabus and JAMB Government syllabus.

Direct Entry for teachers

Educational Management attracts serving teachers with an NCE. Peaceland’s FAQ lists NCE among accepted Direct Entry qualifications. The JAMB-list problem applies to Direct Entry too, so confirm the course title with Peaceland before you buy the Direct Entry form.

How Peaceland admits Education candidates

Peaceland has published no screening test for Education courses; its only announced test, on 18 September 2024, was for six health courses (Myschool, 31 August 2024). The FAQ describes an online application on the e-Admission portal with document upload, followed by a CAPS recommendation for qualified candidates.

Documents Peaceland asks for

  • O’level result (WAEC, NECO or NABTEB)
  • JAMB result slip
  • Birth certificate
  • Passport photograph
  • Local government identification letter
  • NIN slip
  • NCE or other Direct Entry certificate, where it applies

Worked example (illustration only)

This is not Peaceland’s method; it shows how I would read two situations.

  1. Ngozi, 164, registered Education and Economics: 164 minus 150 = 14 above the minimum, with credits in English, Mathematics and Economics. She is on a listed course, eligible and comfortable. If Peaceland later offers a move to Educational Management, she can ask about it after admission.
  2. Kenechukwu, 171, registered Educational Management under another university: his score is fine, but if Peaceland is not on JAMB’s list for that course, Peaceland cannot offer him that course on CAPS. He should sort out his course and institution through JAMB before applying.

Your admission odds and what helps

At Peaceland’s second matriculation, the pro-chancellor, Felix Ugwuozor, said the university had admitted over 600 students and would have taken more, but the NUC quota for each faculty held it back (TheCable). Places are capped, so scoring 150 makes you eligible without guaranteeing a seat.

  • Apply early: private universities often fill their quota in batches, and later batches have fewer places.
  • Clean O’level: Peaceland asks for five credits including English Language and Mathematics. A missing credit stops you whatever your UTME score.
  • Results on CAPS: many candidates lose offers because their O’level is not uploaded.
  • Respond fast: accept on CAPS and pay acceptance within the time given, or the place can go to someone else.

Fees for Educational Management at Peaceland

Peaceland’s schedule has one line for “other departments” in the Faculty of Education. The page does not state the session.

LevelTuitionOther feesAccreditationTotal
100 level₦70,500₦87,500₦42,000₦200,000
200 level₦70,500₦74,500₦55,000₦200,000
300 level₦70,500₦74,500₦55,000₦200,000

At 100 level the “other fees” already include the ₦10,000 admission form and ₦10,000 acceptance fee, plus processing, matriculation and health insurance. Tuition can be paid 60% then 40%.

How to apply to Peaceland for Educational Management, step by step

  1. Settle the course title: check JAMB’s e-brochure or the registration screen for Peaceland under Educational Management, and if it is missing, get Peaceland’s written advice on which listed course to register.
  2. Get your JAMB profile code: send NIN, a space and your 11-digit NIN to 55019 or 66019 from the phone line linked to your NIN. JAMB replies with the profile code you take to the CBT centre.
  3. Register the UTME correctly: choose Peaceland University (not Peaceland College of Education) and the course Educational Management (only if Peaceland appears under it; otherwise the listed course Peaceland tells you to use), and sit Use of English, Economics, Mathematics and one other Social Science or Arts subject. Make Peaceland your first choice. If you chose another school, Peaceland says you can still apply, but you may need a JAMB change of institution before it can offer you a place.
  4. Upload your O’level to CAPS: go to a JAMB-accredited centre and upload every sitting you want counted. If you are awaiting WAEC or NECO, upload as soon as the result is out. The university cannot recommend you on CAPS without it.
  5. Apply on Peaceland’s portal: go to apply.peacelanduni.edu.ng, create an account, enter your JAMB number and score, upload your documents, choose Educational Management and pay the admission form fee (₦10,000 on the university’s fee schedule). Print your slip.
  6. Watch for screening: Peaceland has published no written test for this course, so check the portal and your email for any interview or document check, and keep your originals ready.
  7. Accept on CAPS: log in at efacility.jamb.gov.ng, open Check Admission Status, then Access my CAPS, and accept the offer only when it shows the right course at Peaceland University. Our JAMB CAPS guide explains each status.
  8. Pay acceptance and fees, then clear: the fee schedule lists acceptance at ₦10,000. Pay only through the official portal or the Admissions Office, then bring your O’level, JAMB result slip, birth certificate, NIN slip, local government letter and passport photographs for clearance.

Warning

Peaceland University says it does not authorise unofficial admission agents. Every genuine offer shows on JAMB CAPS, and JAMB treats admissions done outside CAPS as illegal. Ignore anyone selling “slots”, and pay only through the university portal or its Admissions Office.

JAMB set 30 November 2026 as the 2026/2027 admission deadline for private universities (News Agency of Nigeria, 11 May 2026), so Peaceland’s 2026/2027 offers have to be on CAPS by that date. If you are planning for 2027, read when JAMB 2027 registration starts and how to check your JAMB result and what to do with the score.

Studying Educational Management at Peaceland University

Peaceland University is a private university in Independence Layout, Enugu. It grew out of Peaceland College of Education, which still runs as a separate institution, and began admitting degree students in 2023/2024. Its website lists five teaching faculties for 2026/2027 (Allied Health Sciences, Law, Science and Computing, Education, and Arts, Management and Social Sciences), and its news page carries a 15 September 2026 headline announcing full operational licence approval.

What you study

Peaceland has not published a course outline. In Nigerian universities, Educational Management covers education foundations and teaching practice, then school administration and supervision, educational planning, economics of education, personnel management, school finance and records, education law and policy, research methods and statistics, and a project.

Duration and accreditation

  • Duration: four years for UTME entrants is usual; Peaceland has not stated it on a page I could read.
  • NUC accreditation: Peaceland announced full accreditation for Educational Management after NUC’s October/November 2025 exercise (reported by Uniblog NG, 23 April 2026, and repeated by Allschool and Myschoolgist). I found no NUC report page for it, so the status rests on the university’s announcement.
  • Teaching registration: graduates who teach or manage schools register with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN).

Where it leads

  • School administration, from vice principal to proprietor
  • Education boards, ministries and inspectorate services
  • Planning and administration roles in tertiary institutions
  • Training and development in organisations
  • Postgraduate study in educational administration and planning

Mistakes Educational Management applicants make

  • Registering a course Peaceland is not listed for: CAPS cannot carry an offer for it.
  • Registering Peaceland College of Education: the college also lists a B.Ed. in Educational Management on its site, but from 2026/2027 JAMB allows colleges of education to admit only NCE students.
  • Leaving out Economics or Mathematics: both are in JAMB’s Educational Management combination.
  • Trusting an agent’s “slot”: Peaceland says it authorises no unofficial agents.

If you need to fix your course after registration, see our JAMB change of course guide.

Sources and updates

The 150 minimum, the 30 November 2026 private university deadline and the CAPS rule come from JAMB’s 2026 policy meeting as reported by the News Agency of Nigeria (11 May 2026); the 2025/2026 minimum is from Channels TV (8 July 2025). Peaceland’s JAMB course list is from Myschool’s reprint of JAMB’s Peaceland list, and the subject rules from the JAMB brochure entry for Educational Management, both checked on 30 October 2026. The B.Ed. listing, entry rules and application route are from Peaceland’s homepage and FAQ page, and the fees from its schedule of fees, read on 30 October 2026.
