There is no IMT Purchasing and Supply cut off mark to quote for UTME candidates, because Purchasing and Supply does not appear on IMT Enugu’s course list in JAMB’s brochure for ND entry. JAMB’s national minimum for polytechnics is 100 for 2026/2027, and that floor applies to every ND course IMT does list. Purchasing and Supply shows up at IMT on its HND list, which you enter with an ND, not with a UTME score.
2027/2028 update: IMT cut-off marks usually stay the same from one year to the next, so the figures on this page are what 2027/2028 candidates should plan with. They come from the latest official notice (2026/2027). If the 2027/2028 notice changes anything, we will update this page.
So if you want Purchasing and Supply at IMT, the realistic plan is a related ND through the UTME, then HND Purchasing and Supply later, provided IMT accepts your ND as relevant. Does IMT offer Purchasing and Supply through JAMB?
I checked three kinds of source. JAMB’s brochure decides which courses you can pick for IMT in the UTME, and Myschool reprints it course by course. The IMT list there has 35 courses, including Accountancy, Marketing, Office Technology and Management and Public Administration. Purchasing and Supply is absent.
IMT’s HND notices, as reprinted on education blogs over several years, list Purchasing and Supply among the business HND programmes, and Wikipedia’s IMT page does too. Neither is a 2026 IMT document, so treat them as strong hints that still need IMT’s confirmation.

Put together, IMT appears to run Purchasing and Supply at HND level and does not admit into it through the UTME. If your JAMB e-brochure shows Purchasing and Supply under IMT Enugu when you register, that overrides this page, and you should pick it.

No 2026 IMT notice repeats the 120, so do not plan with it. What has held for two sessions is JAMB’s 100.
How to reach Purchasing and Supply at IMT
The route most IMT students take into a business HND is two years of ND, one year of industrial attachment, then the HND form. IMT decides which NDs count as relevant for HND Purchasing and Supply, and I have not seen that list, so ask the department before you choose your ND.

These are IMT ND courses that do appear on the JAMB brochure list for IMT and sit closest to Purchasing and Supply. The subjects come from Myschool’s reprint of JAMB’s brochure; the safe targets are my advice, not IMT rules.

If your score is under 140, Insurance and Marketing are easier to get into than Business Administration or Accountancy. If you want the closest match to procurement work, Business Administration and Management is the one I would pick.
O’level for these courses
All of them need five O’level credits, including English Language (Literature in English does not count) and Mathematics, at not more than two sittings, from WAEC, NECO or NABTEB. The other three credits come from business and social science subjects such as Economics, Commerce, Principles of Accounts, Government, Geography and Office Practice.
How IMT screening works for ND business courses
IMT’s website links a notice titled “Call for 2026/2027 admission into ND and HND programs (regular and part-time)”, and applications run through the SLMS application page on portal.imt.edu.ng. The 2026/2027 screening fee, dates and test format were not in any official source I could open.

Worked example
Take Obinna, who wants to work in procurement. He scored 164 and has credits in English, Mathematics, Economics, Commerce and Government from one WAEC sitting.
- Course check: Purchasing and Supply is not on IMT’s JAMB list, so he cannot pick it in the UTME.
- Pick a route: he chooses Business Administration and Management at IMT, which takes the same Mathematics plus two subjects.
- Against my safe target: 164 minus 160 = 4. He is just inside the range I call competitive for Business Administration.
- Plan for HND: he asks the department in his first year whether ND Business Administration is accepted for HND Purchasing and Supply, and aims for a CGPA above 2.50.
How to apply to IMT for the 2027 intake, step by step
- Get your JAMB profile code: send NIN, a space and your 11-digit NIN to 55019 or 66019 from the phone line linked to your NIN.
- Check the course list before you pay: during registration, look at the IMT Enugu course list on JAMB’s e-brochure. If Purchasing and Supply is not there, choose Business Administration and Management or Marketing instead.
- Register with the right subjects: pick the combination for the IMT course you choose. If you picked another school first, a JAMB change of institution is possible before IMT screening closes.
- Upload your O’level to CAPS: visit an accredited CBT centre and have your WAEC, NECO or NABTEB result uploaded.
- Fill IMT’s screening form: when the call appears on imt.edu.ng, apply on portal.imt.edu.ng, pay through the channel the portal names and print your slip.
- Check CAPS: log in at efacility.jamb.gov.ng, choose Check Admission Status and open CAPS.
- Accept within four weeks: JAMB set four weeks for 2026 offers. Our JAMB CAPS guide explains every status.
- Pay acceptance through the portal: blogs put IMT’s acceptance fee at ₦25,000, but IMT has not published it in any source I reached. Pay only against an IMT portal invoice.

What Purchasing and Supply covers and where it leads
Purchasing and Supply (now often called procurement or supply chain management) teaches how organisations buy goods and services, manage stores and move materials. In Nigeria the field links to public procurement rules for government agencies and to the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Management of Nigeria (CIPSMN) for professional membership. At IMT the HND runs for two years after ND and industrial attachment.
What you study
- Purchasing core: principles of purchasing, sourcing, tendering and contract management.

Accreditation
At IMT’s Global Homecoming in June 2026 the Rector, Prof. Sunday Gozie Ogbodo, said all courses offered by IMT are now fully accredited, after more than 70% of programmes had expired accreditation when he took office in 2024. NBTE has not published a programme-level result for Purchasing and Supply at IMT that I could find, so its status is not confirmed.
