Peaceland University Human Kinetics and Health Education Cut-Off Mark 2027/2028 and Admission Requirements

Peaceland University takes 150 in the UTME for Human Kinetics and Health Education, with no fitness or screening test published. See JAMB subjects, O’level, Direct Entry, official fees and CAPS steps.

The Peaceland University Human Kinetics and Health Education cut-off mark is 150 in the UTME, JAMB’s minimum for universities for 2026/2027. Peaceland has not published a separate cut-off for this course, and it has not announced a post-UTME test or a fitness test for it. If you have 150 or more with Biology among your UTME subjects, you can apply.

2027/2028 update: Peaceland University cut-off marks usually stay the same from one year to the next, so the figures on this page are what 2027/2028 candidates should plan with. They come from the latest official notice (2026/2027). If the 2027/2028 notice changes anything, we will update this page.

On JAMB’s list of Peaceland courses the programme is called “Human Kinetics and Health Education”, and that is the name to select when you register. Peaceland’s own website calls it B.Sc.(Ed) Health and Human Kinetics, and its fee page has a Department of Health and Human Kinetics. They are the same programme. Both lists were checked on 30 October 2026.

Peaceland University only began admitting students in the 2023/2024 session, so it has a short history and has never published a departmental cut-off for any course. If a blog shows you a “Peaceland Human Kinetics and Health Education cut-off” of 180 or 200, ask where it came from. I could not find one figure that traces back to the university.

Safe target score for Human Kinetics and Health Education at Peaceland (my advice)

This table is my own judgement as an admissions adviser. Peaceland has not published it.

Your UTME scoreMy read for Human Kinetics and Health Education at Peaceland
Below 150Not eligible for a Peaceland degree this session
150 to 169Eligible. A fair chance if your O’level credits are complete and uploaded
170 to 189Comfortable for Peaceland, and it keeps a state university backup in view
190 and aboveStrong. You could also aim at ESUT or UNN, whose Education courses took 160 in 2026/2027

This is one of the less competitive courses at Peaceland, so 150 gives you a real chance. I still suggest 170 or more, which covers you if the NUC quota fills early and keeps ESUT and UNN (160 each for Human Kinetics and Health Education in 2026/2027) open as alternatives.

UTME subject combination and O’level for Human Kinetics and Health Education at Peaceland

RequirementHuman Kinetics and Health Education
UTME subjectsUse of English, Biology and any two relevant subjects
O’level, option 1Five credits (or TC II merit passes) including English Language and Biology or its equivalent
O’level, option 2Five credits (or TC II merit passes) including English Language and Mathematics
Direct EntryNo general line in the brochure; only some universities’ own rules are listed
Fitness or medical testNone published by JAMB or Peaceland

These lines come from JAMB’s brochure entry for Human Kinetics and Health Education as reprinted by Myschool, checked on 30 October 2026. Biology is the only fixed UTME subject. The brochure does not define “relevant”, so I would use Chemistry and Physics, or Chemistry and Economics. Both are safe for a health-science degree and keep a switch to Public Health or Community Health possible.

The two O’level options read as if either English with Biology or English with Mathematics is enough. In practice I would hold credits in English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and one more subject, which meets both options and any stricter reading by the department.

No waiver in the brochure names Peaceland, so the general lines are what apply.

Direct Entry into Human Kinetics and Health Education

JAMB’s brochure gives no general Direct Entry line for this course, only rules for a few named universities. For example, UNIPORT accepts a merit pass in the National Institute for Sports certificate. Peaceland has published nothing of its own, so if you hold an NCE in Physical and Health Education or a sports certificate, ask the Admissions Office in writing whether it is accepted before registering for DE.

How Peaceland admits Human Kinetics and Health Education candidates

Peaceland has not published a post-UTME examination for any Education course. The only Peaceland screening test I found in public notices was the one of 18 September 2024, and it covered six health courses only (Nursing, Medical Laboratory Science, Physiotherapy, Community Health, Environmental Health and Public Health). For Education, admission so far has been by online application on the university’s portal, followed by a recommendation on JAMB CAPS.

Peaceland’s intake is still capped by the admission quota the NUC gives it. At its second matriculation, the Pro-Chancellor, Felix Ugwuozor, asked the NUC to raise that quota because qualified applicants were being turned away (TheCable). Once you pass 150, applying early, a complete O’level and a higher UTME score all help.

Worked example

Peaceland has no published aggregate formula, so I compare each score with the 150 minimum and my 170 target. The candidates below are illustrations.

  1. Tochukwu scored 152 with Biology, Chemistry and Physics and has credits in English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. He is just above the minimum. I would expect him to be considered if he applies early.
  2. Ada scored 174 with Biology, Chemistry and Economics. She is above my target and also clears the 160 at ESUT and UNN, so she can choose based on cost. Peaceland charges ₦200,000 a session for Education.
  3. Ifeanyi scored 160 with Government, Economics and CRS. Without Biology his combination does not fit the brochure. He should register Biology in the next UTME or ask Peaceland about a course that matches his subjects.

Peaceland University Human Kinetics and Health Education school fees

Peaceland’s own fee page lists one structure for the Department of Health and Human Kinetics and all other Education departments. Human Kinetics and Health Education falls under it.

Item (Faculty of Education)100 level200 level300 level
Tuition₦70,500₦70,500₦70,500
Other fees₦87,500₦74,500₦74,500
Accreditation charge₦42,000₦55,000₦55,000
Total for the session₦200,000₦200,000₦200,000

The 100 level “other fees” of ₦87,500 already include the admission form, processing and acceptance charges:

Part of the 100 level “other fees”Amount
Admission form (application)₦10,000
Admission processing₦5,000
Acceptance fee₦10,000
Matriculation₦7,000
Online course registration and ICT₦12,500
Health insurance₦20,000
E-library, handbook, ID card, utility, examination, sports, faculty and departmental fees₦23,000 together

Peaceland lists the Department of Health and Human Kinetics as its own row on the fee page, but the amounts are the same as other Education departments: ₦200,000 a session. That is well below the ₦480,000 listed for 100 level Public Health or Community Health. The schedule says other fees and the accreditation charge go in the first instalment, and tuition is split 60% and 40% across the second and third instalments. The page does not name a session or list hostel for Education, so confirm both on the portal before you pay.

How to apply for Human Kinetics and Health Education at Peaceland, step by step

  1. Get your JAMB profile code: send NIN, a space and your 11-digit NIN to 55019 or 66019 from the phone line linked to your NIN.
  2. Register the right course: pick Peaceland University and the course named Human Kinetics and Health Education with English, Biology and two relevant subjects. If you already chose another school first, do a JAMB change of institution before you apply.
  3. Upload your O’level to CAPS: do it at a JAMB-accredited centre and include every sitting you want counted. Without it the university cannot recommend you.
  4. Apply on Peaceland’s portal: create an account on the e-admission page linked from peacelanduni.edu.ng (apply.peacelanduni.edu.ng), fill in your UTME details and O’level, pick Human Kinetics and Health Education and pay the ₦10,000 form fee shown on the fee schedule. Print your slip.
  5. Accept on CAPS: log in at efacility.jamb.gov.ng, open Check Admission Status and then Access my CAPS, and accept the offer before you pay the university anything else. Our JAMB CAPS guide explains each status.
  6. Pay acceptance and fees: the acceptance fee is ₦10,000 and processing ₦5,000, both inside the first instalment. Pay only through the student portal or the Admissions Office, as the university’s website instructs.

Warning

Peaceland University and Peaceland College of Education, Enugu are different institutions with different portals. Make sure you are applying to the university, and pay nobody who claims to be an admission agent: the university says it has authorised none.

JAMB set 30 November 2026 as the 2026/2027 admission deadline for private universities, and admissions done outside CAPS are illegal. If your offer has not appeared on CAPS close to that date, contact the Admissions Office through the official website.

Studying Human Kinetics and Health Education at Peaceland University

Human Kinetics and Health Education is a four-year degree in the Faculty of Education. It covers the science of human movement and exercise, sport and recreation, and health education, with teaching practice in schools. Peaceland has not published its curriculum, so what follows is the normal outline of the degree in Nigeria.

Accreditation

  • NUC accreditation: not confirmed. Human Kinetics and Health Education is not among the 17 programmes Peaceland announced as fully accredited after NUC’s October/November 2025 exercise (the Education programmes on that list are Biology, Computer Science and Economics Education, Educational Management, and Guidance and Counselling), and I found no NUC report naming Peaceland University for it. Peaceland began in 2023/2024, so its first visit may still be ahead.
  • Do not mix it up with the college: NUC reports that mention “Peaceland” for Education degrees belong to Peaceland College of Education, Enugu, whose degree programmes are affiliated to Abia State University. They say nothing about Peaceland University. JAMB’s 2026 NCE guide also stopped all 100 level and 200 level degree admission into colleges of education from 2026/2027, so a degree place now has to come through a university such as Peaceland.
  • What to ask: what sports facilities the department uses, and whether it has had its NUC resource verification.

What you study

  • Science base: human anatomy, exercise physiology, kinesiology and biomechanics, and first aid and safety.
  • Health education: personal and community health, nutrition, school health programmes, drug education and health promotion.
  • Sport and recreation: sports psychology, sports management, coaching, games and athletics, and recreation.
  • Education: curriculum studies, methods of teaching Physical and Health Education, teaching practice and a project.

Careers

Graduates teach Physical and Health Education in secondary schools after TRCN registration. Others work as sports coaches and administrators, fitness instructors, school health officers, health educators with NGOs and primary health care programmes, or in recreation and sports centres. Postgraduate study in exercise science, health promotion or sports management is a common next step.

Other Enugu options: the ESUT Human Kinetics and Health Education cut-off mark and the UNN Human Kinetics and Health Education cut-off mark both took 160 in 2026/2027. To prepare for the Biology paper, use our JAMB Biology syllabus.

Mistakes Human Kinetics and Health Education applicants make

  • Searching for the website’s name on JAMB: JAMB lists it as Human Kinetics and Health Education, not Health and Human Kinetics.
  • Leaving Biology out of the UTME: Biology is the one compulsory subject.
  • Assuming a fitness test: none has been announced, so don’t pay anyone for “fitness screening”.
  • Skipping the CAPS upload: without O’level on CAPS the university cannot recommend you.
