The Peaceland University Community Health cut off mark is 150 in the UTME. JAMB set 150 as the 2026 minimum for every university, and Peaceland University, Enugu has not published a higher score for its Bachelor of Community Health Science (BCHS). If you score 150 or more, choose Peaceland and have the right O’level credits, you can be considered for the course.
2027/2028 update: Peaceland University cut-off marks usually stay the same from one year to the next, so the figures on this page are what 2027/2028 candidates should plan with. They come from the latest official notice (2026/2027). If the 2027/2028 notice changes anything, we will update this page.
Community Health appears on JAMB’s list for Peaceland as Community Health, and the university’s 2026/2027 advert lists “BCHS Community Health” under the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences. It is a degree for school leavers, which is different from the Community Health Officer and CHEW diplomas that colleges of health technology and teaching hospitals run. The JAMB brochure page for the university course was blank on the copy I could read, so treat the subject advice below as my recommendation and confirm it on the JAMB e-brochure.
Peaceland University Community Health cut off mark: quick facts
| Item | 2026/2027 position | Status |
|---|---|---|
| JAMB minimum for universities | 150 | Official (JAMB policy meeting, 11 May 2026) |
| Peaceland Community Health cut-off | Not published | No figure in the advert or JAMB’s 2026 list |
| JAMB course name | Community Health | JAMB course list for Peaceland (Myschool reprint) |
| Degree on the advert | BCHS Community Health | Myschool News, 28 April 2026 |
| UTME subjects | Use of English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics (my recommendation) | University brochure entry not readable; confirm on the e-brochure |
| Private university deadline (2026/2027) | 30 November 2026 | JAMB via NAN, 11 May 2026 |
| NUC and CHPRBN approval | Not confirmed | No record found |
Does Peaceland have its own Community Health cut-off?
No figure has been published. News Central TV’s list of cut-offs that universities declared at JAMB’s 2026 policy meeting has no Peaceland entry, and the 2026/2027 advert gives no scores. Earlier announcements of the Peaceland form in June 2025 and May 2026 did not give scores either.
Peaceland has the legal room to admit from 150 upward. The practical limit is the NUC quota: the university’s Pro-Chancellor, Felix Ugwuozor, asked the NUC at the second matriculation to raise quotas because qualified applicants were being turned away (TheCable).
| Session | Peaceland Community Health figure | Note |
|---|---|---|
| 2026/2027 | None published | 150 national minimum applies |
| 2025/2026 | None found | Form announced without requirements |
Safe target score for Community Health (my advice)
These bands are my own advice for planning. Peaceland has not published them.
| Your UTME score | My read for Peaceland Community Health |
|---|---|
| Below 150 | Not eligible |
| 150 to 164 | Eligible; you need clean O’level credits |
| 165 to 179 | Fair chance |
| 180 to 199 | Good chance |
| 200 and above | Very safe for this course |
For 2027, I would aim for 175 to 180 or higher, apply in the first batch and have your O’level on CAPS before you apply.
Community Health subject combination and O’level
UTME subjects
Here is what I could and could not confirm:
- Myschool’s reprint of JAMB’s university brochure page for Community Health shows only headings, with no subjects.
- JAMB’s polytechnic entry for Community Health (the diploma course) asks for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with Use of English. That entry is for polytechnics and colleges, not for Peaceland’s degree.
- For the degree, I would register Use of English, Biology, Chemistry and Physics, the combination JAMB lists for Public Health and Environmental Health Science, the closest university courses. Check the Community Health page on the JAMB e-brochure before you pay for registration, and switch to whatever it lists.
O’level and Direct Entry
| Requirement | What I would plan for |
|---|---|
| O’level credits | Five: English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics |
| Exam bodies | WAEC, NECO or NABTEB (JAMB’s general rule) |
| Sittings | Not stated by Peaceland; one sitting is safer |
| Direct Entry | Not published. Ask Peaceland whether it admits holders of the Community Health Officer diploma or CHEW certificate at 200 level |
Five science-heavy credits cover every version of the requirement I found, which is why I recommend them even if the e-brochure turns out to accept fewer.
Screening, deadline and a worked example
Peaceland has not published a Post-UTME notice with a date or scoring method for 2026/2027. Candidates apply on the university portal, and Myschool reported the admission as ongoing from 28 April 2026. JAMB set 30 November 2026 as the 2026/2027 deadline for private universities, and the News Agency of Nigeria reported on 11 May 2026 that admissions outside CAPS are illegal.
Worked example (illustrative)
There is no published Peaceland formula, so this example only measures a score against the 150 minimum and my target.
Nnamdi scored 168 with English, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. His WAEC has C5 in English, C6 in Mathematics, B3 in Biology, C4 in Chemistry and C5 in Physics from one sitting.
- Minimum: 168 minus 150 = 18 marks clear.
- Target: 180 minus 168 = 12 marks short of my “good chance” band, so he is in “fair chance”.
- O’level: five credits in the subjects I recommend, one sitting.
- My advice: apply as soon as the portal opens and keep checking CAPS. He has a realistic shot.
Ngozi scored 182 but has no credit in Mathematics. Nigerian science degrees almost always ask for a Mathematics credit, so she should fix it at the next WAEC or NECO before relying on this course.
How to apply for Community Health at Peaceland University
- Get your JAMB profile code: send NIN, a space and your 11-digit NIN to 55019 or 66019 from the phone line linked to your NIN. JAMB replies with the profile code you take to the registration centre.
- Register the UTME with the right course name: pick Peaceland University and the course listed as Community Health, with Use of English and the three sciences the JAMB e-brochure lists for the course (I would use Biology, Chemistry and Physics). Make Peaceland your first choice. If it was not, do a JAMB change of institution before the university starts admitting.
- Upload your O’level to CAPS: visit a JAMB-accredited centre and have your WAEC, NECO or NABTEB result uploaded. A private university cannot recommend you on CAPS without it.
- Apply on the Peaceland portal: the 2026/2027 advert pointed candidates to the university’s application portal (apply.peacelanduni.edu.ng, “Enroll Now”). Fill the form with the same names, JAMB number and course you used at JAMB, and keep every receipt.
- Do the screening: Peaceland has not published its screening format. Prepare for a document check at least, and possibly a test or interview. I would take your UTME result slip, O’level results, birth certificate or age declaration, LGA identification and passport photographs.
- Accept on CAPS: log in at efacility.jamb.gov.ng, choose Check Admission Status and open Access my CAPS. Accept the offer there. JAMB gives four weeks to accept or reject, according to its 2026 policy meeting.
- Pay acceptance and clear: Peaceland’s fee schedule lists acceptance at ₦20,000 and a total of ₦480,000 at 100 level and ₦400,000 at 200 and 300 level, with tuition payable 60% and then 40%. Pay only through the official portal or the Admissions Office.
Warning
Peaceland College of Education, Enugu is a separate institution from Peaceland University. Check that your portal, receipts and CAPS offer name Peaceland University, and pay only through the university’s own portal or account. A Community Health place cannot be bought outside CAPS.
Studying Community Health at Peaceland University
Community health practitioners deliver primary health care close to where people live: immunisation, antenatal and child health checks, health education, treatment of common illnesses under standing orders, and disease surveillance. Peaceland’s BCHS sits in the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences. The university has not published the course outline or duration; confirm both before you accept.
Accreditation and registration
- NUC: Community Health is not among the 17 programmes Peaceland announced as fully accredited after NUC’s October/November 2025 exercise (reported by Uniblog NG on 23 April 2026), and I found no NUC report naming Peaceland University for it. Status: not confirmed.
- CHPRBN: the Community Health Practitioners Registration Board of Nigeria registers community health practitioners and accredits their training. Daily Trust reported on 28 July 2026 that Iconic Open University had engaged CHPRBN to accredit its Bachelor of Community Health Science, which shows the Board also looks at degree programmes. I found no CHPRBN record for Peaceland. Status: not confirmed.
- Name mix-up: NUC reports that mention “Peaceland” (Chemistry Education, Physics Education, FULL, November 2024) are for Peaceland College of Education’s degrees under Abia State University.
- What to ask: whether the BCHS has NUC approval, whether CHPRBN has visited, and what registration graduates can expect.
What you study and where it leads
- Foundation: basic sciences, anatomy, physiology and introductory community health.
- Core: primary health care, epidemiology, maternal and child health, nutrition, health education, environmental sanitation and control of communicable diseases.
- Practice: community postings and clinic work, which depend on the partner health facilities a school uses. Ask Peaceland which ones it uses.
- Careers: primary health care centres, local government health departments, immunisation and maternal health programmes, NGOs, and postgraduate study in public health.
If you are already working in primary health care, the established Enugu route has been the Community Health Officer programme at UNTH; see our UNTH Community Health Officer training guide. Related Peaceland courses:

Mistakes Community Health applicants make
- Confusing the degree with the diploma: the CHEW and CHO courses at colleges of health have their own forms and entrance exams. Peaceland’s BCHS goes through JAMB and CAPS.
- Copying the polytechnic subjects: Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry is the diploma combination. Check the university entry.
- Missing Mathematics or Biology credits: plan for five science-heavy credits.
- No O’level on CAPS: the university can’t recommend you without it.
- Paying before checking accreditation: ask first.

Sources and updates
The 150 minimum and the 30 November 2026 private university deadline come from JAMB’s 2026 policy meeting as reported by the News Agency of Nigeria (11 May 2026). The JAMB course name is from Myschool’s copy of JAMB’s Peaceland course list, and the degree title and faculty from Myschool News (28 April 2026), a summary of Peaceland’s advert. The polytechnic subject rule is from Myschool’s reprint of the JAMB polytechnic brochure; the university brochure page for Community Health was blank when I checked on 30 October 2026. The CHPRBN point is from Daily Trust (28 July 2026). The quota remarks are from TheCable’s report of Peaceland’s second matriculation. The fees are from Peaceland’s schedule of fees, read on 30 October 2026; the page does not state the session. The list of 17 programmes Peaceland announced as fully accredited after NUC’s October/November 2025 exercise is from Uniblog NG (23 April 2026), with the university’s own news post of 1 May 2026; Community Health is not on it.
