The HND Public Health Nursing claim deserves a direct warning. Nursing programmes need approval from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN), and the college does not appear on NMCN’s December 2025 list, which shows only two nursing schools in Adamawa State. I would not apply for that programme at Michika without written NMCN approval.

Do you need JAMB for College of Health Technology Michika?
No source mentions JAMB for this college, and I could not confirm whether JAMB lists it. JAMB expects National Diploma admissions to go through CAPS, and the Federal Government said on 11 May 2026 that admissions outside CAPS are illegal. Ask the college whether your ND course requires you to choose it on JAMB. If it does, you need at least 100 in the UTME, JAMB’s 2026/2027 minimum for polytechnics and monotechnics. Certificate courses are not normally handled by JAMB.

The college has not published its exam format. Colleges of health technology usually test English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and general knowledge, followed by an interview. That is my guidance, not a college rule. Bring your printed form, payment receipt, O’level result and passport photographs to the exam.
