Indomie Scholarship 2026: Full Tuition for New Students, Deadline 30 October
The Indomie Scholarship 2026 pays full tuition for Nigerian students newly admitted to public institutions. The official deadline is now 30 October 2026; here is who qualifies and how to apply.

The Indomie Scholarship 2026 pays full tuition for Nigerian students who are starting their first year at a public or state-owned university, polytechnic, college of education or specialised institution in the 2026/2027 session. It is run by Dufil Prima Foods Plc, the maker of Indomie noodles. The official scholarship page now gives 30 October 2026 as the deadline, so if you have fresh admission you still have a few days.

Some listings still show an older date, so go by Indomie’s own page. You can start the form today with only your personal details and a passport photo, then upload your JAMB and O’Level results later, as long as you finish before the deadline.

Who can apply for the Indomie Scholarship

  1. Citizenship: you are a Nigerian citizen.
  2. Fresh admission: you are entering tertiary education in the 2026/2027 session. Students already in 200 level and above do not qualify.
  3. Public school: your admission is to a federal or state-owned institution. Private universities and polytechnics are left out.
  4. Results: you have your WAEC or NECO result and your JAMB result. Up to two O’Level sittings can be combined.
  5. Timing: you register before the deadline.

There is no state restriction. The form asks for your state of origin, but the page says the programme is open to students across Nigeria.

How to apply for the Indomie Scholarship 2026

  1. Open the official page: go to indomie.ng/indomie-scholarship-program and use the apply link there. Avoid links passed around on WhatsApp.
  2. Start a new application: click “I Am a New Applicant”.
  3. Fill in your details: name, email, phone, date of birth and state of origin.
  4. Add your photo: upload a passport photograph or take one live.
  5. Upload your results: add your JAMB and O’Level results now, or skip and return later through the same apply page.
  6. Verify and submit: confirm your email or phone number, then submit before 30 October 2026.

Applying is free; never pay anyone. Indomie does not charge for the form, the CBT or verification.

What happens after you apply

Indomie reviews the forms and invites shortlisted candidates to a computer-based test. The company has not published the CBT subjects or the number of questions. I would revise English, Mathematics and general knowledge, the way you did for UTME, and keep your phone on.

Candidates who pass the CBT go through physical verification, where you should bring your original results, your JAMB admission letter and your school admission letter. Final selection comes after that. Indomie does not publish how many students it takes each year.

Your admission must be real before verification. Our JAMB CAPS guide explains how to accept your offer and print the admission letter.

Indomie Scholarship deadline

The deadline is 30 October 2026, as shown on Indomie’s official scholarship page. The window was first advertised to close on 31 August 2026 and has since been extended, which is why some sites still show an older date. If it moves again, the portal will show it.

Getting the form right: practical tips

The Indomie form is short, which makes small errors more costly. Shortlisting depends on what you type, and verification later checks it against your original documents.

  1. Use your name exactly as on your JAMB and WAEC or NECO results: same spelling, same order. A mismatch can cause trouble at verification.
  2. Take the passport photo in daylight: plain wall behind you, face centred, no filter, no cap. If you use the live camera option, hold the phone at eye level.
  3. Get clean copies of your results: your JAMB result slip and your O’Level statement or the online result printout. Make sure the exam number and grades can be read clearly.
  4. If you sat twice: the form accepts up to two sittings, including a mix of WAEC and NECO. Upload both if your credits are spread across them.
  5. Verify your contact details: the last step asks you to confirm your email or phone. Do it immediately; an unverified entry may not count.
  6. Return before 30 October if you skipped uploads: registering without results only reserves your place. An entry with no results by the deadline is incomplete.

Is there an essay? How to prepare for the CBT instead

Indomie’s page lists no essay or personal statement. The real test is the CBT, and the company has not published its subjects, length, date or venue. Prepare as you would for a general screening test:

  • English: comprehension, sentence completion, synonyms and antonyms, using UTME Use of English past questions.
  • Mathematics: percentages, ratios, simple algebra and word problems.
  • General knowledge: Nigerian current affairs, basic civics and recent national events.
  • Speed: practise timed CBT mocks so you are comfortable answering on screen.

Keep your phone charged and on after the deadline. If the invitation names a centre far from you, plan the transport early.

Checklist for physical verification

Indomie has not published its verification list. Bring originals and photocopies of everything that proves who you are and that your admission is real:

  • JAMB result slip and JAMB admission letter (printed after accepting on CAPS)
  • School admission letter and acceptance fee receipt
  • WAEC or NECO certificate or result statement, for each sitting you used
  • A means of identification, such as your NIN slip
  • Two recent passport photographs
  • The CBT invitation message or email

Eligibility edge cases

  • Still waiting for admission: you can register now, but the award is for students admitted for 2026/2027, and verification will ask for proof. If your admission never comes through, you cannot be selected.
  • Direct entry students: the page speaks of students entering tertiary education. If you already studied for an ND, NCE or similar, you have been in tertiary education before, so ask scholarship@indomie.ng before relying on it.
  • JUPEB, IJMB or pre-degree students: you qualify only once you are admitted into the degree programme for 2026/2027.
  • Specialised institutions: public schools of nursing, health technology and similar institutions fall under “specialised institutions”, provided they are government-owned.
  • Students admitted in 2025 or earlier: not eligible, even if you are only in 100 level because of a delayed resumption.

Common mistakes

  • Applying through a link from a WhatsApp group that asks for a “processing fee”. The real form is free.
  • Registering with a friend’s email or phone, then missing the CBT invitation.
  • Registering early, planning to upload results “later”, and forgetting.
  • Creating two applications. Use the same apply page to continue your first one.
  • Not accepting admission on CAPS before verification, so you have no JAMB admission letter to show.

Costs the Indomie Scholarship does not cover

“Full tuition” covers your tuition fees. At many public institutions, the yearly bill also includes charges listed separately from tuition, and the official page does not say Indomie pays those. Budget for:

  • Acceptance fee, which you pay before any scholarship decision
  • Hostel, feeding and transport
  • Textbooks, laptop and data
  • Departmental and faculty dues, medical fees and other charges outside tuition
  • Travel to the CBT centre and to verification

Who should apply, and who should not

Apply now if you are a Nigerian student with 2026/2027 admission (or expecting it soon) at a federal or state university, polytechnic, college of education or specialised institution. There is no fee, no essay and no state restriction, so the only cost is ten minutes and a little data.

Do not apply if you are already in 200 level or above, you were admitted in an earlier session, or your admission is to a private institution. Those entries will not pass verification.

Other awards for newly admitted students

If you miss this one, the ICON Scholarship also pays first-year tuition for new students, and the Decagon Undergraduate Scholarship targets high JAMB scorers.
