The Peaceland University Public Administration cut off mark is not published. Peaceland has no departmental figure, so JAMB’s 2026 minimum for universities, 150, is the score that applies. You need at least 150 to be considered, and I would aim for about 160. Public Administration is on JAMB’s list of Peaceland courses under that exact name and on Peaceland’s 2026/2027 list as a B.Sc. in the Faculty of Arts, Management and Social Sciences. Its NUC accreditation is not confirmed: Public Administration is not among the 17 programmes Peaceland announced as fully accredited after NUC’s 2025 exercise, so ask the university before you pay.
2027/2028 update: Peaceland University cut-off marks usually stay the same from one year to the next, so the figures on this page are what 2027/2028 candidates should plan with. They come from the latest official notice (2026/2027), which for Peaceland means JAMB’s 2026 minimum for universities, because the university has not published a score of its own. If the 2027/2028 notice changes anything, we will update this page.
This page covers the official numbers, my safe target, the JAMB subjects (Mathematics and Economics are fixed, Government is not), Peaceland’s O’level rules, how it admits, a worked example, the CAPS steps and what the degree involves.
Peaceland University Public Administration cut off mark at a glance

|---|---|---|
| Peaceland cut-off for Public Administration | Not published | No Peaceland notice with a score found for 2025/2026 or 2026/2027 |
| JAMB minimum for universities | 150 | Official, JAMB policy meeting, 11 May 2026 |
| Safe target score (my advice) | 160 and above | Consultant advice, not a Peaceland rule |
| JAMB course name | Public Administration | JAMB list of Peaceland courses (Myschool reprint) |
| Peaceland programme | B.Sc. Public Administration | Peaceland’s own programme list (FAQ page) |
| Faculty | Arts, Management and Social Sciences | Peaceland FAQ page |

Peaceland University cut-off history for Public Administration
| Session | Figure | What it is | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2026/2027 | 150 | JAMB national minimum for universities | Official (JAMB, 11 May 2026) |
| 2026/2027 | Not published | Peaceland’s own minimum or departmental cut-off | Not on Peaceland’s FAQ page; not in the 2026 institution list reported by News Central |
| 2025/2026 | Not published | Peaceland’s own minimum | The 2025/2026 form notice reprinted by AbsTech Connect (6 June 2025) gives no score |
Peaceland began degree admissions in 2023/2024, and neither of the two recent notices I found gives a score. JAMB’s 150 is the legal floor, so plan with it as the line to cross and treat anything above it as your margin.
Safe target score for Public Administration at Peaceland (my advice)
This table is my judgement as an admissions adviser. Peaceland has not published anything like it.
| Your UTME score | My read for Peaceland Public Administration |
|---|---|
| Below 150 | Not eligible for any university course in 2026 |
| 150 to 159 | Eligible; an offer depends on your O’level grades and how early you apply |
| 160 to 179 | Strong for a new private university. This is the range I would aim for. |
| 180 and above | Very strong |
For the 2027 UTME I would aim for 160 or higher with credits in English, Mathematics and Economics. Many Public Administration hopefuls are strong in Government and weak in Mathematics; fix the Mathematics credit before anything else.
UTME subject combination and O’level for Peaceland Public Administration
| Requirement | Public Administration at Peaceland |
|---|---|
| UTME subjects | Use of English, Mathematics, Economics and any other Social Science subject |
| O’level | Five credits including English Language, Mathematics and Economics, plus two other relevant subjects |
| Peaceland’s general rule | Five credits including English Language and Mathematics, plus relevant subjects (FAQ page) |
| Exams accepted | WAEC, NECO or NABTEB |
| Sittings | Not stated by Peaceland; one sitting is safest |
| Peaceland remark in the brochure | None. The general JAMB rule applies |
Candidates often assume Government is the core subject for Public Administration. In JAMB’s general entry, Mathematics and Economics are the fixed subjects and Government is one choice for the fourth. Some universities have their own remarks; Godfrey Okoye University in Enugu, for example, accepts Government, History or Commerce in place of Economics at O’level. Peaceland has no remark, so the general rule is the one that applies to you.
The safest combination for Peaceland is Use of English, Mathematics, Economics and Government. It meets JAMB’s rule and keeps Political Science open as a second option.
Direct Entry
JAMB’s Direct Entry rule is two A level passes including Economics. Peaceland’s FAQ also invites ND, NCE, IJMB, JUPEB and HND holders to apply, without grades. A diploma in public administration is the usual route, but ask the Admissions Office what grade it needs before you buy a form.
How Peaceland screens Public Administration applicants
Peaceland has not published a Post-UTME test, a screening fee or screening dates in any source I could reach. What its own admissions FAQ does say is this:
- JAMB score: you need the current minimum approved by the university and the NUC. The page does not print a number, so 150 applies.
- Not your first choice? You can still apply and do a JAMB change of institution where it is needed.
- Direct Entry: ND, NCE, IJMB, JUPEB, HND or equivalent holders may apply.
- Transfers: students from recognised universities may apply, subject to a review of their records.
- O’level: at least five credits, including English Language and Mathematics, plus subjects relevant to the course.
- Documents: O’level result, JAMB result slip, birth certificate, passport photograph, local government identification letter, NIN slip, acceptance fee receipt, school fees receipt, and your Direct Entry qualification if you have one.
- Fees: they vary by programme, and instalment payment is allowed under university rules. Peaceland’s fee schedule lists ₦320,000 at 100 level and ₦390,000 at 200 and 300 level for the Faculty of Arts, Management and Social Sciences, with a ₦10,000 form and ₦10,000 acceptance fee.
In practice, a young private university like Peaceland usually decides on your UTME score, your O’level grades and your documents. Some add a short test or interview. Peaceland has not said whether it does, so be ready for one.
Worked example for Public Administration candidates
Peaceland has no published aggregate formula, so there is nothing official to combine. The useful sums are the distance between your score, the 150 floor and my target.
Take Uchenna, who scored 163 in Use of English, Mathematics, Economics and Government. He has credits in English, Mathematics, Economics, Government and Civic Education from one sitting.
- Eligibility: 163 minus 150 = 13. He clears the floor.
- Against my target: 163 minus 160 = 3. He is just inside my strong range.
- Subjects: Mathematics and Economics are there, plus Government. His combination fits.
- What I would advise: apply early, upload his O’level to CAPS and accept the offer quickly when it shows.
Nkem scored 171 in Use of English, Government, Literature in English and CRS. Her score is higher, but she has neither Mathematics nor Economics in the UTME, so she does not fit JAMB’s Public Administration rule. Her subjects fit English Language and Linguistics, and Political Science may also suit her if its line allows it.
How to apply for Public Administration at Peaceland University, step by step
- Get your JAMB profile code: send NIN, a space and your 11-digit NIN to 55019 or 66019 from the phone line linked to your NIN.
- Register the UTME correctly: pick Public Administration at Peaceland University with Use of English, Mathematics, Economics and one other Social Science subject such as Government. If Peaceland was not your choice, do a JAMB change of institution, which Peaceland’s FAQ allows.
- Upload your O’level to CAPS: do it at a JAMB-accredited centre. A result that is not on CAPS cannot be used to admit you.
- Apply on Peaceland’s portal: go to apply.peacelanduni.edu.ng, create an account, fill the application and upload the documents listed above. Use the same names as on your JAMB and WAEC or NECO records.
- Attend any screening: if Peaceland invites you for a test or interview, go with the originals of every document.
- Accept on CAPS: log in at efacility.jamb.gov.ng, choose Check Admission Status, then Access my CAPS. Accept only when the offer is the course you want. Our JAMB CAPS guide explains every status.
- Pay acceptance and school fees: pay only through Peaceland’s official student portal or at the Admissions Office, print your JAMB admission letter and go for clearance.
Warning
Peaceland says it does not authorise any admission agent. Every genuine offer appears on JAMB CAPS, and payments go through the official student portal or the Admissions Office. Anyone who asks you to pay them for a “slot” is not acting for the university.
JAMB set 30 November 2026 as the 2026/2027 admission deadline for private universities, a month after the 31 October date for public universities, and it says any admission done outside CAPS is illegal. If you sat the 2026 UTME and still have no admission, Peaceland can still offer you a place on CAPS up to that date. Check CAPS regularly and read what to do with your JAMB score if you are planning for 2027.
Your chances of getting Public Administration at Peaceland
TheCable reported, at Peaceland’s second matriculation, that the university admitted over 600 students across four faculties and that its NUC quota limited how many it could take. So there is a cap, even at a private university. In my experience, though, a new private university’s arts and social science departments are rarely as crowded as Medicine or Nursing, and qualified candidates who apply early and complete their documents tend to get offers.
For Public Administration, the UTME combination and the Mathematics credit decide most cases. Get those right and finish your Peaceland application early.
If you want a programme with a confirmed NUC result in the South East, the NUC lists Clifford University’s Public Administration as fully accredited until 2027.
Studying Public Administration at Peaceland University
Public Administration sits in Peaceland’s Faculty of Arts, Management and Social Sciences with Political Science, Economics and Criminology. Peaceland has campuses at Independence Layout near MSP and at Emene in Enugu, and does not say which programmes run where. Four years is the usual length for a B.Sc. in Nigeria (three for Direct Entry); Peaceland has not published its own.
What you study
- Foundations: principles of public administration, Nigerian government and politics, and economics.
- Public policy: how policy is made, implemented and evaluated.
- Public money: public finance, budgeting and financial management in government.
- People and structures: personnel management, local government administration and administrative law.
- Research: research methods, statistics and a final year project.
Accreditation
Peaceland University was licensed in 2023 and grew out of Peaceland College of Education, which still runs as a separate college. After NUC’s October/November 2025 accreditation exercise, Peaceland announced full accreditation for 17 programmes (reported by Uniblog NG on 23 April 2026), and Public Administration is not on that list. I also found no NUC report page naming Peaceland University for it. A programme usually gets its first accreditation visit when its first students are close to graduating, so ask the department in writing about its NUC status before you pay fees. Separately, Peaceland announced on 15 September 2026 that it had received its full operational licence, which covers the university as a whole rather than individual programmes.
One NUC report that comes up when you search “Peaceland” is for Political Science Education at Peaceland College of Education (full accreditation, visit 26 to 28 November 2024). That degree is affiliated to Abia State University and belongs to the college, not the university, so it says nothing about this programme.

Mistakes that cost Public Administration applicants a Peaceland place
- No Mathematics in the UTME: it is fixed in JAMB’s rule.
- No Economics in the UTME: also fixed.
- Relying on another university’s remark: Peaceland has none, so the general rule applies.
- Paying an agent: Peaceland says it authorises none.
- O’level not on CAPS: without it, no admission.
- Accepting on CAPS and stopping there: fees and clearance at Peaceland are separate.

The 2026/2027 admission announcement is from Myschool News (28 April 2026), and the 2025/2026 form notice is from AbsTech Connect (6 June 2025); neither gives a score. Peaceland’s 2023 founding and its roots in Peaceland College of Education are from Wikipedia’s entry and the press reports it cites. Godfrey Okoye University’s remark is from the same brochure page. The Clifford University comparison comes from the NUC results list. The over-600 admissions figure and the NUC quota remark are from TheCable’s report of Peaceland’s second matriculation. The NUC report for Peaceland College of Education (Political Science Education) is on the NUC website; no NUC report for Peaceland University was found.
